About the platform
KOŚA is an enterprise-grade, GxP-compliant SaaS platform for the pharmaceutical industry — combining a Document Management System (DMS) and Learning Management System (LMS) on a unified regulated infrastructure. Built to 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, GAMP 5 and ALCOA++ standards, KOŚA manages SOP lifecycles, GxP training records, electronic signatures and immutable audit trails.
Stack: React 18, TypeScript (strict), Vite, Zustand, Tailwind CSS, Node.js/Express, AWS Lambda, Supabase (PostgreSQL + RLS), AWS (S3, KMS, SES, EKS, CloudWatch, WAF), Redis, GitLab CI/CD, Vercel.
Role overview
We are looking for a mid-level full stack developer with 3–7 years of hands-on experience to own features end-to-end on the KOŚA platform. You will work across the DMS, LMS and Active Directory modules — designing database schemas, building React UIs, writing backend APIs and ensuring all code meets GxP compliance requirements. You are expected to work with minimal supervision, mentor junior team members and contribute to architecture decisions within your domain.
Key responsibilities
Product development
- Design and implement full stack features across React frontend, Node.js/Express backend and PostgreSQL database layers
- Own the SOP document lifecycle (DMS): state machine logic, controlled copy watermarking, rendition pipeline (DOCX → PDF/A) and periodic review scheduling
- Build and extend LMS features: training matrix, competency assessments, OJT records, GxP certificate generation and ALCOA++ audit entries
- Develop Active Directory sync, RBAC middleware and enterprise SSO integration
GxP compliance & quality
- Write and review PostgreSQL migrations and RLS policies ensuring multi-tenant isolation and role-based access at the database level
- Implement 21 CFR Part 11 compliant electronic signature flows: reason capture, identity verification and tamper-evident signature records
- Ensure all data entry points satisfy ALCOA++: server-side timestamps, user attribution, no DELETE on regulated records
- Participate in code reviews with a compliance-first mindset; flag and resolve GxP gaps proactively
Collaboration & mentorship
- Mentor interns and junior developers — review PRs, guide them on GxP standards and unblock technical issues
- Collaborate with the product lead on feature scoping, effort estimation and sprint planning
- Write clear technical documentation: PR descriptions, schema rationale notes and API contracts
Skills & qualifications
- 3–7 years of proven full stack development experience on production systems
- Strong command of React 18, TypeScript (strict mode) and modern state management (Zustand or Redux)
- Solid Node.js/Express backend experience: REST API design, middleware, authentication flows
- Deep PostgreSQL knowledge: schema design, query optimisation, indexing, Row-Level Security
- Hands-on AWS: Lambda, S3, KMS, SES, CloudWatch — EKS / Kubernetes exposure a strong plus
- Comfortable with Redis for caching, session management and invalidation strategies
- Proficient with GitLab CI/CD or equivalent pipelines
- Excellent debugging skills across frontend, API and database layers
- Familiarity with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 or regulated software environments is a significant advantage
- B.Tech / B.E. in CSE, IT or related field (or equivalent demonstrated experience)
